I received my Masters degree from Bastyr University in Applied Behavioral Sciences in 1995. After a post graduate internship and seven years of additional consultation I received licensure from the State of Washington. I have continued to learn and grow by taking intensive classes in my field.
Besides my training in psychotherapy I was a Seattle firefighter and EMT for thirteen years and have witnessed and assisted in an enormous array of emergency situations. I am a parent of two boys, fifteen and sixteen years of age, and I have been married to my partner for close to twenty-five years.
Meeting the challenges of today’s world in a skillful and aware fashion is not easy. Sometimes another supportive human being can help us to see possibilities that we are not able to perceive on our own. I believe that it is everyone’s birthright to have a fulfilling life and we all come into the world with that potential. I would like the chance to meet you and share this healing journey.
